Solution for better effiency
Lemonsoft’s IT department oversees a wide range of devices, including laptops, phones, monitors, docking stations, and headsets. To enhance the efficiency of its IT procurement process and asset lifecycle management, Lemonsoft wanted to find a solution that could automate manual processes and free up valuable time for more critical tasks.
Reimagined IT asset management
IDR was selected as the asset management solution due to its unique set of features designed to improve the entire lifecycle management of devices. Additionally, it provides various methods for automating manual tasks.
With IDR, an online shop was created where employees can choose and order new devices from a ready-made catalog. The new orders are approved and then automatically sent to vendor through a API.
Now all new devices are automatically registered in IDR and IT department doesn’t need to manually updated them. Updates on devices information are also automatically managed through a connection with Microsoft Intune, ensuring that data stays up-to-date with minimal manual effort. IDR also sends instant alerts to Lemonsoft’s Microsoft Teams, for example when a device’s user changes or its hard drive space falls below 10 GB.
IDR also enables Lemonsoft to seamlessly integrate leasing information into their asset management and streamline the device return process. It automates notifications to guide employees through each step, while integration with the leasing company minimizes human errors.
