F-Secure streamlined IT device lifecycle management with IDR

International cybersecurity company F-Secure Oyj wanted to improve and simplify its IT device lifecycle management. To support this goal, the company chose IDR Oy as its partner.

All information and lifecycle processes in one place

F-Secure manages more than a thousand employee devices across Europe, North America, and Asia. This creates high demands for device management, cybersecurity, and consistent processes.

With IDR’s ready-made integrations, all device-related data and processes can be centralized in one system. The most important integration was done with Microsoft Intune, which automatically transfers user, organization, and cost center data to IDR and keeps the information up to date.

In addition, a separate integration was built with the device manufacturer. This allows warranty information to be updated in IDR directly from the manufacturer. As a result, automation can manage devices at the end of their lifecycle, ensuring that no device falls out of warranty before it is decommissioned.
