Manage 3stepIT leasing devices directly in IDR

The integration between IDR and 3stepIT brings contract information related to leasing devices into the same view with other device data. Automatic data synchronization reduces the need to maintain the same information separately across multiple systems.

IDR can read contract start date, monthly cost, contract term and contract number from 3stepIT. This means that key contract information related to leasing devices is available directly in IT asset management software.

When contract and device information can be found in the same place, organisations can better monitor device costs and contract durations. Up-to-date information also supports device lifecycle planning and helps organisations prepare for upcoming actions.

“With the integration between 3stepIT and IDR, leasing-related information becomes part of the same overall view as other device data. This reduces manual maintenance and helps IT teams manage leasing devices throughout their entire lifecycle,” comments Mikko Lehmus from IDR.

Information that lives in IDR can also be sent to 3stepIT. For example, user information synced from Microsoft Intune can be forwarded to 3stepIT for billing purposes. Similarly, information such as a user’s cost centre can be updated from their Microsoft Entra profile through IDR to 3stepIT.
