Automating IT asset management: Creating automated alerts with IDR

In this video, we show you how to build alerts in IDR and how they help automate critical tasks throughout your IT asset lifecycle.

Alerts allow you to:

  • Notify IT team when an employee places a new order.
  • Send onboarding instructions to the employee automatically after new device is ordered.
  • Remind the user 30 days before a lease ends to replace and return the device.

Creating alerts is simple. You choose the event, select how the alert is delivered (email, Teams, Slack, or webhook) and set any conditions you need.
